Classic “Deluxe” Facial 

 TIME: 1.5 - 2 HOURS  PRICE: $90

Our Classic “Deluxe” Facial is an effective and clarifying treatment for both young, mature and diverse skin and skin concerns such as teenage or hormonal acne. This treatment efficiently exfoliates, controls oil production and treats congested skin to reduce inflammation and breakouts. A series of three treatments is recommended for results, and a monthly treatment for maintenance.

STEP 1: DOUBLE-CLEANSE & LIGHT EXFOLIATION

We begin the facial by double-cleansing the skin with professional-grade Lira Clinical’s products that cater to 4 different purposes: Anti-Aging, Brightening, Clarifying and Hydrating. One of the featured products is Lira Clinical’s’ BIO Enzyme Cleanser, a “gentle gel cleanser to remove makeup and surface debris” that is “good for all skin types…ideal for hypersensitive, dry and dehydrated skin” (Lira Clinical). The Double-Cleansing Technique is followed by Lira Clinical’s PRO Exfoliating Cleanser to thoroughly cleanse the skin, remove dead skin and dissolve stubborn debris in the skin pores, allowing for a smooth pore extraction process. These two products are just one of many that we have at P&Q Beauty Bar, and an Esthetician will work closely with you to choose the right products for your skin type, needs and conditions.

STEP 2: DEEP EXFOLIATION

To further clear the pores of debris, we use other professional, medical-grade skin products from Lira Clinicals and Skin Script. We offer a wide variety of fruit enzymes working as powerful antioxidants, exfoliants and brighteners to hydrate your skin by digesting dead skin and softening oil buildup. We soothe and nourish your skin with masks made from natural fruit extract and ingredients and each product is carefully selected and customized to your skin type, needs and conditions. STEP 3: PORE EXTRACTIONS

Our Estheticians are professionally trained to perform extractions, unglogging congested skin by removing stubborn comedomes. Comedones are a build-up of sebum (oil) and debris in your pores; you might see them on your own skin as black dots on your nose (blackheads) or flesh, skin-colored raised bumps (whiteheads). Nonetheless, our Estheticians are skilled at recognizing thd various types of congestion and equipped with techniques to safely removely the debris in a way that does not harm the skin.

  • For severely congested skin, the length of the facial is dependent on the amount of extractions the Esthetician is able to perform. There is no guarantee that the Esthetician is able to clear the congestion entirely with 1 treatment, thus it is recommended that the you return to for a minimum of 3 treatments, two weeks apart.

  • Using professional and medical-grade Lira Clinical and Skin Script products and aseptic technique, the Esthetician uses sterile, one-time use lancets to create a tiny opening at the head of the comedome (clogged pore). Then, pressure is applied to remove the debris and root of the comedome to prevent reoccurrence. The facial concludes with LED light technology to kill bacteria as well as application of salicylic-based products to maintain cleanliness of the pore and fight off bacteria.

  • Depending on the severity of skin congestion, the Esthetician may recommend the additional treatment of a professional or medical-grade chemical peel. Please note that facial extractions and chemical peels cannot be done with the same appointment as the skin has openings due to the extractions. Thus, the Esthetician may require you to return on a different date to perform the chemical peel to enhance the facial results, refining skin texture.

STEP 4: RESTORATION & RELAXATION

The next steps are devoted to restoring the skin’s hydration, with the application of serums, moisturizers and sunscreen for protection. We also give extra attention to the delicate skin of the undereye, applying an eye cream as well as a hydrating, rich lip balm. We conclude the facial with a relaxing facial, neck, shoulder and arm/hand massage to work the products deeper into the skin.

Face Reality "Acne” Facial 

 TIME: 1.5 - 2 HOURS  PRICE: $90-$150

Price dependent on time allotted to perform extractions. More congested skin may require additional time and attention for safe and complete removal of debris within the pores.

The Face Reality “Acne” Facial is geared for individuals who struggle with teenage, hormonal or lifestyle-induced acne conditions. Our Esthetician is a Certified Acne Expert with certified training with Face Reality Skincare, a highly regarded medical-grade acne brand and treatment program designed to specifically target acne. The “Acne” Facial follows similar steps as in our Classic “Deluxe” Facial with the exception that we use a combination of Face Reality Skincare’s award-winning products to cleanse, treat and reduce inflamed acne skin.

Furthermore, the Acne Expert will provide an in-depth skin consultation to learn more about possible lifestyle factors the contribute to your acne problems. Then, the Acne Expert will design an in-depth, personalized home skin care routine post-treatment using Face Reality Skincare products, designed to manage and clear inflammation, breakouts and congestion.

ZEMITS Treatment Add-Ons

The Esthetician may perform the following treatment Add-Ons below. The ZEMITS technology is extremely versatile, able to perform 6 different functions for the refinement of skin and skin texture. The Esthetician will closely analyze your skin and make recommendations for add-ons to the Zemits “HydroDiamond Glow” facial.

  • Cooling therapy, also known as cryotherapy, is a cold application to human skin that allows for rejuvenation and relaxation.

    THE SCIENCE: Blood vessels constrict in low temperatures, and thus reduces redness and inflammation by preventing blood to reach the surface of the skin. The results are soothed, less-irritated skin.

  • Deep vacuum massage has the following benefits:

    • Stimulates blood flow and lymphatic flow

    • Allows for deeper penetration of skincare products

    • Enhances the effects of other services

    • Relaxing assage to promote rest & stress-reduction

    THE SCIENCE: The lymphatic and blood vessels of the body work together to remove toxins and waste in your body. Deep vaccum massage accelerates these functions, allowing for increased lymphatic drainage, collagen production and skin rejuvenation.

  • The application of filtered pure oxygen deep into the skin. This pressure allows for better penetration and absorption of products.

    THE SCIENCE: Oxygen Mesotherapy is designed to detox, promoted the production of collagen and acceleration of skin regeneration. When cells are exposed to oxygen, studies show that function and produce more rapidly. This allows for quicker skin regeneration and collagen production.

  • Radiofrequency has many benefits, ranging from improving collagen production to firming skin and minimizing wrinkles. Our Estheticians are trained to safely apply radiofrequency energy during your treatment.

    THE SCIENCE: When the skin is heated, this accelerates the natural functions of skin and its metabolism. As a result, the skin increases its collagen and elastic fiber production.

  • A delicate and microscopic cleaning of the skin using ultrasound technology to increase lymphatic drainage and improve blood flow. The thorough cleaning of the UltraSonic Skin Scrubber allows for the deeper penetration of skincare products.

    THE SCIENCE: Ultrasound technology sends waves into the pores to breakup debris and dislodge them from the pores. The mechanical Skin Scrubber Spatula then removes the debris on the skin’s surface.
